CCRCS monthly meeting conducted.
Tom 'O' won the door prize, and John Shirron took home the
Broken Prop award for losing his newly built Cutlass on his
maiden flight. We met two new members, Dan Allen
and Ron Sjolander, and among other business, funds to
support the 2010 Christmas party door prizes were
authorized. |

Larry Tate hosted our annual "Scale
Fun-Fly," in the midst of some pretty uncomfortable weather
this year. The event was successful due to the large
turn-out of visitors, as well as the few pilots that
participated.

John Shirron hosted our June "All Up!"
Fun Fly. Almost a dozen pilots were entered, but John
took home the bragging rights.

CCRCS monthly meeting conducted.
Chuck Murray won the door prize: Sig 4-Star, and Dave Yardas
took the "Broken Prop" Award. Our
June "All Up!" Fun Fly was announced, and Larry Tate
gave an update on his
July Fun Scale Fly In. A committee was appointed
to draw up plans to celebrate our 30th year anniversary next
April. |

Dave Agar hosted our annual "Warbird
Fly-In," with many pounds of candy donated to send to the
troops. The event was very successful, as over ninety
club members and visitors attended! Hamburgers and hot
dogs were provided, and several hundred dollars of prizes
and cash awards were collected.

Richard Dower volunteers for position of Newsletter Editor,
ending John Shirron's reign after many years! Ray
Franz won the door prize: Cap 10 w/75" wingspan. Tom

first Fun Fly of the season, hosted by Randy Boardman.
The Fun Fly was well-attended with visitors as well as a

Our first annual "Show,
Shine and Swap Meet" was held on Saturday, April 17th
this year. Hosted by our club president Mike Akers and the
folks at Island Hobbies, it turned out to be a fun and
exciting event. |

Sea Bee Sport. New club staff positions for Newsletter
