When I was just a young kid and went to visit my Grandpa, he would take me out to the R/C airfield in Lewiston, Idaho. His prized plane was a DC-3 that took him a few years to build and he did a beautiful job.  Ever since, I have loved the DC3 and that is why I decided  to build it.  I have never undertaken a project this involved (or big). I decided on the Topflite DC3.  It has an 82.5" wingspan and twin .40 engines.  I will be installing split flaps and Robart Retracts.
